Moving On

My friend Sara gave me this recipe from her Taste of Home recipe magazine that she gets once every two months. I was going to subscribe to it, until I discovered you can get most of the recipes off of their website...which is good, because the last thing this apartment needs is another magazine!

Not to go off on a tangent, but somehow both D and I got airline miles from Delta and USAir respectively, which somehow transferred into magazine subscriptions. Not ones to pass up free offers, we mailed in our choices. So now we've been getting at least 3 to 4 magazines at any given time; some are weekly, some monthly, some every two months. It's borderline ridiculous. Finally, Dave called some of the magazines to see if he could suspend some while we have others coming. Which they did allow him to do. Yipee. I think one salesperson thought D wanted to all out cancel (which I wouldn't have objected to) the subscription, so he gave us a subscription extension...now we have US News & World Report magazine coming weekly until 2010. Double yipee.

But I digress. Try the chili bowls, they are simply appetizing.
