Please excuse the low-grade whine you will hear throughout this video. For some reason I thought that two minutes before naptime would be a good time to capture Micah's latest trick on video. Oh well, you'll still get the idea! When he scoots, he usually pants excitedly as he approaches the object he's after. He always gets where he wants to go now and is never in the same spot I leave him. I love it, he can now entertain himself...his body has almost caught up with his brain! I swear he would have been scooting and sitting at two months if those were physical possibilities. Anyway, here's that video I promised:

Good for Micah! Poor guy, trying so hard to get to that case, and yet he keeps pushing it away while he's trying to grab it! It's so funny how they do that. Matthew would rather move around the apartment than play with his toys these days too. And I'm so familiar with that cry that says "Mommy, can't you see I'm tired? Put me to bed!" Oh, and his hair is so thick, he might have more than Matthew :)

He is so cute the way he can get himself where he wants to go. And only when you are 5+ months old can you get so close to the camera and still look so beautiful! Mom F
