Moving On

D's mom got Micah this Lego starter set for Christmas last year and he hasn't been too interested in it...until now. Until his interest in all things trucks and cars and transportation has been sparked. He especially loves construction trucks, and they're usually on building sites, so I think building things (instead of knocking them down) is more appealing to him now.

Actually, now that I think about it, I should probably clarify: this is M's first Lego creation he build all on his own. The first one he build was also a car, but copied it off of the side of the box. He brought me the box and pointed to the picture of the car, so I handed him the four or five pieces it took to make it and let him at it. He put all the pieces in the right spots, but some needed to be turned around to make it look exactly like the picture. Nonetheless, I was very, very impressed with his building skills.
