It is exactly one year from today that I will be listening to Pomp and Circumstance for what will probably be the fiftieth time in my life, but this time will be the most special out of any of them. And I'm not talking about next year's Kindergarten Graduation. Exactly one year from today, David will officially be: Dr. David [insert last name here]. Dr. David. How natural does that sound?
If I looked it up somewhere, I'm sure I could tell you when the ceremony commences. And the place, I know for sure, will be the Academy of Music (pictured below) in downtown Philly.
I'm told that the architecture inside is absolutely stunning. I hope he is allotted at least 4 or 5 tickets, but that's probably stretching it. I'm getting all emotional just thinking about it and it's still a year away, Lord-willing!
Anyway, the countdown is on!

Yeh, you're going to have to remind me of that date a little closer to the time. ;)
Well, even if he does get 4 or 5 tickets, they will all be spoken for quickly! You'll have to make sure to get a video or something.
What a beautiful venue for the ceremony too! I love places like that. The Bushnell is one of my favorites because it is just so gorgeous inside.
Did you ever watch ER? Many seasons ago there was a character named Dave Malucci, but he insisted on being called "Dr. Dave." I think that's what I'll call Dave when he graduates. >:)

How exciting!! Just a year to go!! Ever since he was young all he ever wanted to be was a doctor so it'll be most natural to call him Dr. Dave. After all his dad is called Dr. Moz! What a beautiful place they chose for graduation...I can hardly wait..I'll be bursting with pride!
