Wow, sorry to leave you hanging since Saturday. I could have sworn I just posted a few days ago. D had a problem figuring out the first Christmas song picture, too. If you counted all the "25"s on the calendar, you would get 12, therefore the song is The Twelve Days of Christmas. The second one, which I had a problem with, is Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow. So there ya go.
D's round of interviewing is over, but he is still in CT thanks to a rather nasty winter storm making an appearance over the state. It's just rain here in my part of PA, but it took him 6.5 hours to drive what would normally take 2 hours. Needless to say, he'll be there an extra night. I am so incredibly thankful for his safe traveling through all that snow!
In other news, kindergarteners had a grand ol' time making these reindeer candy canes today (and, um, I had fun, too):
We've been doing quite a few crafts now that my mind has caught up and knows we are in the month of December. I was slightly panicked when I realized that there are only 4 more teaching days before I leave for a few weeks, so we have to get parent presents made, words to our Christmas song down pat, and a host of other holiday to-dos. But since I have the best class ever, it shouldn't be that hard to do.

Glad to hear that Dave decided to stay the night. I think he needed the break from driving more than anything! When I got home tonight, I was like, "I NEVER want to drive again" lol. :)

Cute reindeer! I'll have to remember that to do with Olyvia when she's alittle older. Speaking of that, do you happenen to have any other fun crafts saved on your computer that you can just send me sometime? or a link? I'm always looking for ideas for Olyvia!
Glad that Dave is safe and didn't try to drive to PA last night.
See you all soon!

I like snow, but it is not fun to drive in. Glad everyone is all safe and stuff like that. I like the reindeer candy cane--very adorable!
