Festivities

I'm listening to Mom play "O Holy Night" on her piano right now and she is doing quite a good job! Yes, we are in CT safe and sound for the next two weeks...which are filling up rapidly with friend and family plans. Just how it should be this time of year.

It was snowing as we passed through north Jersey last night and how pretty it looked! Of course I wasn't doing the driving, so that's probably why it was so pretty. It wasn't too, too bad and I thought how nice it would be to have a light dusting for Christmas. We'll see, those weatherpeople are hardly reliable.

D is at an interview all day today, so I'm hanging with Mom. I guess we're meeting Dad for breakfast then going over to Nick's house to do some cleaning before the inspectors arrive. And a whole long list that Mom is now telling me...fun Christmas stuff though so it should be fun.

And then D's mom is saving us seats at the HCA Christmas Concert tonight! We're never in town to see it anymore, but they are always so well done so I'm excited about seeing it again. I love all these festivities!!!!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Um... have you not noticed all the snow we have already? We don't need a "light dusting" for Christmas! :P

It was barely, barely snowing when I went out to start my car this morning--it took me a couple minutes to notice it in the pre-dawn darkness. That's the kind of snow I don't mind--really light, doesn't stick, lol. :)

Anyway, glad to hear you made it home OK. We'll see you tomorrow!

It's been years since I've seen a Christmas concert from the school. I remember the days of being in them (sigh). Anyway, have fun celebrating old Dave's b-day, and we'll see you this weekend!

I sure hope it snows while we're in CT!

    How did Dave's interview go?

We're going to miss our church's Christmas activities. :( I love our church. They played the TSO version of Carol of the Bells during offeratory. It was beautiful and they did an excellent job. I felt like I was listening to TSO. So, I know that our Christmas Eve service would have been incredible.

    c u soon
