Some More Stats

D and I went to our latest dr's appt on Tuesday night and while they didn't send me downstairs to have the baby, progress was made:

~ I am now a full 2cm dilated, I guess I was almost 2cm before
~ I am 60-70% effaced, which I was very surprised at
~ and the doctor felt the "presenting part" of the baby's head

The heartbeat was strong in the upper 130s and the dr said that Baby should be here anytime now. Of course, that has been said for the past few weeks (not by the dr, though) and we can see where that has gotten us... an 8-pounder!

I'm excited that the end is in sight, although I'm already thinking about all that won't be the same, pregnancy-wise, and almost missing it. And I'm excited about everyone not having to ask when Baby is coming, although it's really sweet of so many people to care. However, what I'm most excited about is seeing our baby and holding him or her and seeing David hold him or her and finally meeting the little person who has been inside me for all of 2008 and then some!!

Yay! Baby's almost here! I think you will miss pregnancy. Strangely enough, I did. I guess cause you know what an adorable result you get from the whole nine months! Good luck with everything--we'll be praying for you! :)

Before you know it our newest grandbaby will be here! Can hardly wait to meet him/her. Had fun @ lunch today. Hope you did, too! Now can you just have this baby before we go away again? Please?

So Jess I was thinking that it might be cool for you to print some of the baby entries you have done along with the comments to show baby when he/she is older!!! Seeing as this is the most anticipated baby of the Fusari clan!!!! hahahahaha!!!

im actually getting kind of excited now, but you better not have it over the weekend because then i probably won't be able to see it till later. though wrestling the thing away from mom is going to prove difficult.

Ooh, you're getting so close! Your stats sound a lot like mine... I'm pretty sure I was 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced when I went in to be induced. They told me I was "ripe" for induction--weird term, I know, but it makes sense.

I don't miss pregnancy at all. Well, the only thing I miss is feeling her move inside me--that was a pretty cool feeling. Other than that, I don't miss anything else. :)

Oh my gosh, would you just hurry up and have this baby already?! ;)
