Breaking news! Ha, get it? Anyway, Micah's bottom right tooth broke through on Monday night (4 months, 4 days) after much chomping and knawing and drooling and fussing. It's a sharp little thing and I'm not looking forward to the biting days, but he is going to look so cute with those two bottom teeth!! And not to be left behind, his bottom left tooth broke through on Wednesday night (4 months, 6 days). I was keeping an eye on it because I thought I would see some white right next to the one we could feel, and sure enough it made itself known shortly after the first.
I tried to get some good pictures, but this is the best I could do for now. I noticed that when he's crying, I can see them really well, so I'll try to get some pictures then :)

Yay for first teeth! Matthew got his around 6 months old, and now he's working on his 4 teeth on the top.
The biting won't be too bad. Like when they're eating, they don't bit on purpose, it's usually by accident. So if you lay down the law from the start, it won't be a big issue. For instance, don't laugh or smile when he does it. Use a firm voice so he knows you mean business.

I remember the excitement when my firstborn got her first 2 teeth! Yay Micah! Way to go! Let's hope he doesn't bite when you're nursing!
