Mom informed me that it was exactly one year ago today that D and I video chatted with her and dad for the purpose of telling them that we were expecting in September. One year later, this is what we have...
(I'm officially annoyed with our camera: There are so many lights and flashes that go off so by the time the picture is actually taken, I get all these weird faces from Micah, like so:)
This is how we usually see Micah now. Always reaching for something. And it's all one motion, grabbing whatever comes across his line of sight and putting it on a preprogrammed path to his mouth. He's gotten so good at it that he can be looking at you, see something out of the corner of his eye, reach for it, never break eye contact, and put the object in his mouth.

Oh yes, and the "reaching and grabbing for things" only gets worse as he gets bigger and stronger and smarter.
When Matthew was smaller I found myself taking tons of pictures that were duds just to get a handful of good ones. I think it gets easier as they get older and they can smile for you. Of course when they hit toddler age they won't hold still, but whatever :)

Only 4 months and there doesn't seem to be a time we didn't have him with us! He can certainly multi-task, a very unmanlike characteristic! Mom F

Aww, that's cool that your mom remembered the date. :)
I know what you mean about being annoyed with the camera... even the short hesitation between pushing the button and when the flash goes off is enough to throw off the pics. And if you have the red-eye flash on, it's even worse.
Yes, he is quite a grabby little guy. But it's sweet. :)
