Planning to Catch Up...

Guess I have some blogging to catch up on. We've been so busy that I actually forgot all about blogging, if you can believe it. D was on vacation last week (lots of fun!), we were in PA for a long weekend (more fun!), and we've been doing random things here and there that take up time and turn the hours into days and days into weeks. We're hoping to finish up our basement in the next few weeks, too. We're in the midst of picking out carpet that Dad offered to install. Then it just needs some paint and a rail assembly and we're in business :). Anyway, I've got to post about our PA trip and about D's Intern Graduation. And Micah is coming up on 9 months next week, so we'll throw another post about that in there somewhere. For now, here are some pictures of our little (big) man:

Did anyone else get the hint that he didn't want his picture taken?

Would have been a nicer picture if the baby monitor wasn't in his mouth. EVERYTHING continues to detour towards his mouth...

Would have been a nicer picture if I didn't catch him mid-blink. He actively avoids the camera these days. And when he doesn't avoid it, he's too quick for it. Oh well, with the number of people who photograph him, we're bound to get some good ones! (The [golfing/boating] outfit is a grandma-purchase, by the way.)

Crawling around and scooting everywhere aren't enough for our little man. He now climbs up on and crawls underneath whatever he can. Somehow he's mastered stairs and we don't even have any that he can access in our house. Someone forgot to tell him that he is still a BABY!

    That's Matthew to a tee. Being too quick for the camera and crawling up stairs and under things and generally trying to get into everything. We have our hands full, don't we? :)
