Kindergarten Conversations

I know, I know -- kindergarten is over. All my "kindergartners" are now "summer campers," officially, but they are still my kindergartners to me. So...

Today, sometime during the one-hour karate lesson that was taking place, S came up to me. She gave me a BIG hug, an even bigger smile, and said, "Ms. Jessica, I love you more than an elephant."

I'm still deciding if that was meant in the most loving way possible or if I should be slightly insulted at such a comment...

I bet she meant that her love for you is so huge, that it's bigger than an elephant. :)

Jess, didn't you know that elephants are the most lovable animal walking the planet?? She was giving you, like, the biggest compliment ever ;).

Well you certainly aren't the size of an elephant so I'd take it as a definite compliment!
