Beginnings of a Nursery

My list of errands brought me to Toys R Us today. I would have never known they had a baby section except someone in PA had mentioned that she bought something from Toys R Us off of our registry. I told her that I didn't register there, but she said they are linked with Babies R Us. Go figure. So I went to take a look around (I had a coupon for something I wanted, too) and what did I find???? The crib AND the changing table that I wanted!! They were out of stock online and no stores carried them in CT and even after resorting to Google, I couldn't find anyone who carried both of them. You can imagine my surprise when I was perusing the baby section at Toys R Us and there both of them were. And since both of our parents are so very generous, we didn't have to pay for either of them (although, I'm still glad they were on sale!).

Baby'll look so cute in/on both of them. He was a good little guy today during all my standing up on errands. He was getting quick fidgety at the end, so we came home and ate. I feel like I already have a child because when I go out, I have to be full of food, empty of pee, and rested up enough to last me a few hours. And I have to pack a snack. Anyway, I am happy that everything worked out the way it did. I'm having a good ol' time piecing together this nursery...it's much more fun than a bed-in-a-bag type of thing!

So glad you got the exact set you wanted! Better than settling for second best, huh? I really like the look of it, too.

You didn't know that Toys R Us and Babies R Us are related? I mean... the names didn't clue you in? ;) Ehh... blame pregnancy brain, right?

I'm so glad you found your furniture, though--what a God-thing! And I love it too--very classic. Can't wait to see your nursery all set up. :)
