Not much at all to blog about, but I find myself with nothing else to do, so I guess I will make something up. Well not lie, not that kind of make something up, but...well...you know.
D and I finally had a weekend just to ourselves, which we like every once in a while. We got up on Saturday and went to the movies. We still had some of our gift card left from last Christmas and we found out that if you go to AMC before noon on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, tickets only cost $4 each! So we watched The Departed for 2 1/2 hours, talk about getting your money's worth. It had a great plot, but could have done without all the swearing. That's why I can't highly recommend it, unless you have TV-G. Then we went to Friendly's for a late lunch because we had this $3 off coupon. That was so filling that I didn't even eat dinner!
After that I wanted to take a nap because some person, who shall remain nameless, forgot to turn off his 6:10am alarm the night before and in an effort to shut it off, turned on my 7:10am alarm. There was no going back to sleep after that, at least for me. So I was tired. Before napping, though, I got roped into watching Grey's Anatomy, which didn't take much convincing. I can't believe Meredith chose McDreamy!
Well I guess I was tired because I napped for a good 3 hours. D usually wakes me up after an hour, but he studied for the first hour I was asleep and then slept 2 himself! Maybe he won't set his alarm so early next time :). Now, with 3 hours of rest behind me, there was no excuse for me not to finally finish unpacking/cleaning our room, so that's what I did. See what I mean about the lack of excitement this weekend? D is currently putting up the curtains we had in our old living room in our new bedroom so that should make it look complete!
Today, Sunday, was a normal church day. It was D's first time singing in the choir and he got a lot of compliments from the church people. He looked so handsome standing up there. After church we went across the street to Target to use more of our gift cards. D got some boring computer thing and I got some yummy Milano cookies. When we got home we were in the mood to watch another movie, so we watched Pay It Forward with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt. GREAT movie, highly recommended. Then we took a brisk walk for some exercise. It was the perfect weekend before a busy one coming up. Oh, wait, hold on, D just mentioned something about Taco Bell, adios!

Hey, if you're in the mood for another movie, Josh and I highly recommend "One Night with the King." It's about Queen Esther, and it was so well-made! Ooh, and only PG, which just goes to show that great movies can be made without sex, swearing, and extreme violence. Anyway, it's a must-see. It's got romance, intrigue, and you already know how the story ends! :) Love you guys!!

Ooh, I love Milanos--esp the double chocolate ones! They have these new ones called Black and White--one cookie is chocolate and the other is the same old one. Very yummy!
I hated Pay it Forward--the ending was so depressing! ;)
