Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, Dad and I did a little last minute shopping for Mom. He always waits until I get into town to go shopping for her and this year was no different. Not that he isn't a good present-picker-outer, but I think Mom is happy that I go with him...

By the time we got home, Grammy and Grandpa were there! Each year they go around to the grandkids' houses to hand out presents and they get a progressive dinner along the way! It's a Christmas Eve tradition they started when we stopped gathering at their house on Christmas morning. I loved going there on Christmas, ah the memories. Anyway, they had dinner with us and then we all exchanged gifts:

I loved my Josh Groban CD from Ryan and Yana

We got Nick a 3-D Star Wars book...I think he's still looking at it. It even had light-up lightsabers at the end, depicting the fight between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Ok, it was kind of cool, I admit.

Grandpa opening up his USS Oriskany DVD. Grammy said he went home and watched it and has watched it a few times since. He's so grateful to everyone who helped put it together!

And D got this HUGE anatomy book from Ryan and Yana. It measures 2' by 3' and he absolutely loves it...

After G&G left, we headed over to David's house to visit with his family.

You got the Josh Groban Christmas CD, right? I still haven't listened to mine--and I got it for my birthday! :/ I guess this goes to show that the only time I listen to music is in my car... and since my radio refuses to work, no music for me.

That 3-D Star Wars book DOES look cool! And I could care less about Star Wars. :)

I'm so glad your Grandpa liked his DVD! :)
